Macau Koi Kei Egg Rolls Bakery Review

My dad just came back from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Funnily enough, he bought me a gift that was made in Macau. It was from Koi Kei Bakery. Apparently you don't have to go to Macau to buy that. My dad knew how much I like egg rolls, so he bought me that. It came with a nice carton packaging, but unfortunately I threw that away. It came in several sizes and my dad bought a big one. Here is what It looks like.

He bought it at a mall, named Pavillion in Kuala lumpur. One of the stores sells many goodies from many countries and my dad got the above and the almond cakes. Both were from the same brand. The egg rolls cost him about RMB 80 something. I believe in Macau is cheaper. Inside the tin, it has about 32 rolls.

On the tin, the history of how this bakery started was written too. If you are interested, please read it below.

But, what I am most interested in was the egg rolls itself. It is crunchy, buttery and heavenly. I tried many egg rolls before from various brands and countries, but this one is definitely one of the best. As you can see below, I finished the egg rolls pretty quickly. My egg rolls were only 9 left. That is how good their egg rolls are.

The egg rolls actually came in many flavours, but I got the original one. The other flavour that I like from them is the coffee flavour. But, I didn't get that one, so I can't review it. But, it has a strong flavour and fragrance of real coffee. Koi Kei Bakery outlets are available in three countries, Macau, Hong Kong and Singapore. You can google its website for its exact location. If you happen to be in one of these countries, I'd recommend that you stop by and try this delicious egg rolls or you could buy it as a souvenir for your loved one. Hope you like it as much as I do.
