My family and I were hanging out at Baywalk Mall in North Jakarta in Pluit/Muara Karang. We were walking waiting for my sister to arrive and eat together. Walked past this teppanyaki restaurant and my father and my nieces decided to give it a try. If you are looking for a teppanyaki show like Benihana, this is not the place. This is straight up cooking, no show and bear in mind not for the high cholesterol or fatty liver kind of people as they cook everything with butter. Definitely not for my parents who are over 60. They can only eat a tiny bit.

I ordered salmon sashimi and did not regret, it's fresh and delicious.

The beef tongue and beef teppanyaki is yummy. Tairyo Beef tongue compared to Gyu-Kaku, I will definitely choose this. Soft and not chewy. Beef teppanyaki tastes good with the fried garlic.

Will I go there again? Most probably for the tongue and the sashimi, but have to go on a diet first. Oh and I kinda have a lil' sore throat after. I'm not used to eating straight from the grill, teppanyaki style kind of food.
We went there on a Saturday night, no queue required. Ate at about 6 pm something.
