My stay at Marriott Hotel Singapore

3 days ago I went to Singapore and stayed at Marriott Hotel Singapore. The reason I choose this hotel is because it is so strategically located. I'd say in the middle of Orchard.


Marriott is right above Tangs Plaza, opposite of my favourite Shaw House cinema, opposite to Ion Orchard and just next to Lucky Plaza where they sell my ultimate favourite chicken rice! A must go to restaurant for me EVERYTIME I go to Singapore :) What about 313 or Orchard Central you asked? It's a one-stop MRT ride away from Ion, so still convenient but my ultimate reason why I choose this hotel is because it's near to Liat Tower where there is a FREE shuttle bus to Camden Medical Centre where we (my husband & I ) had to go to for eye check up at Dr. Jerry Tan.

So here below is the view from my room window:

Here is the room, I gotta say the room is spacious, bigger than most rooms I've been to in Singapore, which is excellent if you are travelling with children and nanny.

If you notice below, I took lots of pictures of the toilet as I find toilet is important. Until now no toilets beat mine HAHAHA. Anyway, this one has no bathtub, so the bathroom is quite spacious too but overall, it's so-so. Oh, I have to mention, they only provide 1 set of dental kit which is just weird when the room is for 2, so you have to call room service for another 1.

Here below is the bill in Singapore Dollars but since I have points with Agoda, I paid less (woohoo!)

I'm so psyched when I came back to the hotel and they placed this cute horse on the bed! Perfect for bringing it home to give to my baby daughter which now is placed in her crib :D. Thanks, Marriott!!

So let's review..

Upon arriving: very nice and attentive bellboy
Check-in: fast, no need to wait for the check in time, we arrived at about 11.45 am at the hotel, we were given welcome drinks.
Wi-Fi: Free only at the lobby area but if you join to become their member you get free Wi-Fi in the room. When I booked the hotel, I thought free in-room Wi-Fi, Agoda should be clearer with this.
Amenities: Thann, good
Bed: soft and comfy with very soft squarish pillows, unlike the usual long rectangular ones.
View from the room: great as you can see above but since I'm used to Singapore, I only looked outside once, that was to take picture and post in Instagram.
Check-out: Very fast, but I checked out at 8 am in the morning
Location: Strategically located above Tangs. Easy to get around
