But, last Saturday I made a point to try at Seroeni. Since, it is fasting month, the restaurant was quite empty during lunch time. We quickly ordered as below.
Iced Taiwan Milk Tea w/ grass jelly, Original Milk Tea, Malay Teh Tarik, Iced Lemon Tea |
Thai Balachan Fried Rice - Yummy, I can taste the strong balachan. |
Granny Mapo Tofu - Using silk egg tofu instead of fresh tofu. Taste is average. |
Singapore Crispy Sotong - Yummy, I even ordered 2 portions. |
Balachan Chicken - crispy and nice. |
Malay Sambal Salmon - we separated the sambal, but didn't take a pic for the sambal mentah. The salmon is crispy and well cooked. |
Coconut Crusted Prawn - Yummy, must order ! |
Pocai Three Kind - too much gravy but the vegetables are fresh. |
Mango Chicken - Basically it's chicken cutlet with shredded mango on top, pretty good. |
Overall the food is pretty good, although the portion is small. The price is reasonable as well. Would I come back? Yes, definitely.
