1. Rolled clothing takes up less space than folded clothing.
I believe you saw this before but let me show you how to roll your clothes below by http://bighuglittlekiss.blogspot.ru/2013/07/how-to-pack-t-shirts-like-boss.html:
Fold the hem of your t-shirt under. |
Fold your t-shirt in thirds.
Roll up your t-shirt |
Roll the t-shirt starting at the collar and moving toward the tucked under part.
|
Once it's all rolled up, flip the tucked under part over the rest of the t-shirt, like so:
Tried this myself, so easy and it stays neat.
2. Make a list!
Print this |
If NIAT BANGET, you can do this |
3. If you want to use your own toiletries, get small bottles for them and put it in a ziplock bag.
4. Prevent your shampoo and conditioner from spilling by using plastic wrap
Or if you don't have plastic wrap use masking tape.
5. Pack your shoes in a shower cap, or I just use a plastic bag
6. For clothings, stick within a color palette so that it is easier to mix and match your outfits
7. Don't forget your chargers!
8. Don't forget to bring a compact umbrella if you go to rainy/hot places
9. Medications or Band-Aids, if needed. Example: Asthma Inhaler, insect bites cream
10. Last but not least, sanitary pads for women. My cousin told me that the sanitary pads in Singapore is so much more expensive than in Indonesia.
There is also this website that will help you with the list: The Universal Packing List
You just have to key in the duration of your trip, temperature, accomodation, with kids or no kids etc and it will generate a list according to your needs. Easy peasy, from there, you just have to cross out the ones you find unnecessary.
Hope this tips help, next I will post how I pack for my baby daughter :D
