I passed by QQ Kopitiam so often, but never once wanted to eat there. It's not because of any particular reason, it's just that I am not a Kopitiam believer. For me, noodles, rice noodles and fried rice are best eaten at hawker center or street vendors, not inside the mall. But this time, since I was so hungry and was lazy to wait in line for Sushi Tei and Duck King, so I just give this a shot. QQ Kopitiam has been quite successful with the number of outlets I've seen in prominent malls, such as Pacific Place, Plaza Indonesia, SMS and Kelapa Gading.
The interior of the outlet in Kelapa Gading Mall was pretty cozy. It was not really inside the mall. You need to step out a little bit from Paper Clip store, passing the ATM centre on your right and then you will see the security officer guarding the exit door. Once you walk out from that exit door, to your left, you will see QQ Kopitam .
I will let the pictures speak for itself. So, here they are.
Teh Tarik peng |
Great hog plum Juice |
Peach Iced Tea |
Rice noodles with Crab meat |
Crispy Noodle in claypot |
3/4 boiled egg |
Silver fishes fried rice |
Fried rice with chicken |
In conclusion, the food was all standard, quite good but not satisfying enough. Again, I am still not a Kopitiam believer. I stay put to my verdict. But for the price and to think that it is inside the mall and the rental in the mall is not cheap, kopitiam might be your place for affordable meal.
